Heart+Wreath+01 | Simply Link {Party} and a Heart Re-do | 7 |

A couple of weeks ago I made a heart wreath. I liked it and all, but I didn't love it. (You can see my original wreath here.)

After making some felt flowers the other day, I knew that I wanted to re-do my heart wreath. So here is what I did:

  • I took the berries off. Cute, but not the look I decided I wanted.
  • Wrapped more yarn around the wreath making a criss-cross shape. I not only love the added texture, style and shape it gives the wreath, but it reminds me of the "x"'s in XOXO so I think it is particularly fitting for Valentine's Day.

  • Next I made some more felt flowers and attached them with hot glue.

And voila! My re-done, new and improved Valentine's Day Heart Wreath!
Now time for my weekly Simply Link {Party}! Can't wait to see what you have been up to!

Oh I love the added texture by wrapping the yarn like that! I may just have to do that on my next yarn wreath!

www.livingcraftilyeverafter.blogspot.com

Kelly

Great revamp! I tend to do the same thing. Make something and then revamp it to make it look better. Nice work.
