Who Am I?
I am an interior designer turned craft/diy blogger! My passion for interior design grew into a love of creating and one day I just decided to start blogging about it! Kind of crazy, I know. But I love it.
The People Behind the Scene
I have an amazing husband who supports my crazy projects and my love of tools. It's rare to have a Saturday that we are not working on a project and we are always dreaming up our next project. Sometimes we go to the hardware store on dates.
I have two amazing (and also crazy) kids! My daughter is as sweet as can be and loves to help me craft! My son is all boy and can't wait to use the power tools. Watch out world.
Hobbies
In my spare time I attempt to cook, bake and clean. No, those aren't really hobbies, they are necessary evils. (well except baking!) Some of these endeavors are less successful then others. We love to be together as a family and to be outdoors as often as possible. If I have a spare moment I try to spend it with my husband and my family.
Power Tools
I love power tools! I really do. Some of my favorite tools are my Silhouette, Glue Gun, Kreg Jig, Staple Gun, Chop Saw, Drill and my Electric Sander. Most of the other tools I leave for my hubby to use. :)

I am an Interior Designer by profession. I am NCIDQ Certified and have successfully completed the CA Codes and Regulations Exam. In addition, I have a Floral Design certification and own my own floral design business.
But Most Importantly
I love life and find joy in the simple things! I love my family and friends and a good cup of hot chocolate or ice cream cures most things. I am grateful for all I have every single day.But Most Importantly
