New Year's is such a funny holiday to me. It gets overlooked in so many areas like crafts and decor, but is also such an important holiday! So I am so excited to be sharing some fun ideas with you this week to keep your New Year's a little more exciting without making it too stressful!
I made this super easy noise shaker the other day with only a few items that I already had around the house:
- empty toilet paper roll (or a paper towel roll would work too)
- scrapbook paper
- mod podge
- masking tape
- rice
I am sure you can figure out how to make this, but I used scrapbook paper and masking tape to cover both ends of the roll (putting the rice in prior to closing the second side of course!). Then I covered the sides with scrapbbok paper with mod podge as the "glue". And then I added a layer of mod podge to the exterior of it too.
The best this about this is that your children can help make them and then they will be so excited to used them to help ring in the New Year!
