Are you hosting a holiday party this season?  We like to typically have a few people over for a couple of small get-togethers during this season...but this holiday season is a little crazier then normal.  So I know I won't be able to do as much, or make as much from scratch as I typically do.  So I've created a fun appetizer that literally takes minutes to throw together!  And it would be perfect for a Corny (or Ugly) Sweater Party or for a kids or teenagers party!  Here are my Corn Dog Pops:

These are way too simple to make!  And my family finished them in minutes so I know they will be a hit at a party!  Because these are sure to go fast, you will want to go to Sam's Club and grab a big box of Country Ribbon Corn Dogs and then head to your local craft store to pick up some festive mini cupcake papers and some cute striped paper straws to match!

After you cook your corn dogs according to package directions (the microwave is quickest but I think they taste better when cooked in the oven), you will use a sharp knife to cut the corn dogs.  Cut them into rounds and then carefully take them off of the stick.

Place each bite of corn dog into a pretty cupcake liner, cut a paper straw in half and stick the straw into the corn dog!

Set these out on a pretty platter and you have some really tasty, Corn Dog Pops!  Perfect for a quick and simple holiday appetizer!

Now, I have a confession to make.  This year is the first year that we have ever been invited to an Ugly Sweater Party.  And, well, I think we are going to go.  But the problem is, I don't have an ugly sweater.  At least, I like to think that I don't own any ugly sweaters! hahaha!

So when I had the opportunity to show off my Corny shirt and to #GetCorny with my readers, I knew it was  time to invest.

In case you can't read it very well, my shirt says "Be Naughty, Save Santa The Trip."  Pretty cute huh!?

So are you getting corny this year and wearing an ugly or corny sweater?  Are you hosting or going to a party?

If you happen to be near Sam's Club on 12/12/13 or 12/13/13, be sure to stop by and check out the Country Ribbon Corn Dog Demo.  Also, from 12/9 - 12/13, Tyson will host a Sweater Sharing contest on the Club Tyson FB page.  They will post a new image each day and all you have to do is like the photo to be entered to win an official Get Corny Christmas sweater.  And you can check out other #GetCorny ideas here.

Those appetizers are adorable. Very clever (and I love the simplicity). AND you've inspired me to go out and get my own Corny Holiday Sweater. I'm corny anyway, I should totally play along. #client
