I love using up my stash of scrap book paper in fun and creative ways!

Once upon a time, I thought I was a scrap-booker.  Turns out I'm not.  But I have a nice stash of scrap booking supplies that I love to find new uses for.

When I say this tutorial here, I knew that I wanted to put my scrapbook paper to use and make my own Gift Bows!

You will need:

  • scrap book paper
  • hot glue gun
  • round 2" paper punch
  • other punch if desired

Using your 2" paper punch, cut 12-14 circles out.

Use your finger to form all but one of those circles into a cone, keeping the closed end as tight as possible and the open end as large as possible.  Adhere together with hot glue gun.

Glue all cones onto a 2" circle so that they fit snugly together.

Using a contrasting color, punch out another 2" circle.  Then use either a print out, sticker or another punch to add a decorative touch into the center of the circle.

Adhere the decorative circle to the cone circle to cover up the middle empty space.

This can be done in any color combination for any occasion but they are so super cute!

I particularly like to put these on a simple wrapping paper background.  I used brown paper in this example but you can put them on anything!
