We don't drink, but we have a plethora of champagne and wine glasses.  I really don't totally know why, but we do!  And let's be honest, they are really fun to drink out of!  We love celebrating using our glasses with sparkling cider or some of Trader Joe's yummy sparkling cranberry or pomegranate juice!  Oh-my-yum that stuff is addicting!

Anyway, I decided to spruce up a couple of my wine glasses this year and I am excited to show you my Gold Dipped Wine Glasses!

These are so simple to make and are a great way to spruce up boring glasses you may have lying around the house!

To create these you will need:

  • wine glasses (or other)
  • painters tape
  • gold metallic spray paint
  • spray sealer

First you will place your painters tape on the glasses.  I chose to angle mine a bit for a fun off-centered look.  But you can place the tape however you choose!  Be sure to tape off all of the wine glass that you do not want to be painted.

Be sure to tape off the opening at the top as well.  You don't want paint to get into the inside of the cup.

Then simply spray paint your glasses with 2 coats of spray paint.  Apply a spray sealer and wait until your glasses are completely dry prior to use.

And isn't the Glittered Bottle to die for!?  Go HERE to read the tutorial on how to make your own glitter bottle!  These are both perfect for celebrating any occasion like Valentine's Day, New Year's, Christmas, a Wedding, an anniversary or any other special occasion!

Oh, was going to ask, how do the wine glasses hold up when it comes to washing them. Will the paint chip or peel off
