First off, I need to tell you that I don't actually drink.

Well, I drink water, and juice and milk and soda etc.  But I don't drink alcohol.

However, I had a friend who sent me her favorite holiday drink for me to share with you along with a photo!

And while I can't vouch for how it might taste, it sure looks good!

Here is what Megan told me about it:

My favorite Holiday drink is called a Snuggler.
It takes one packet of hot chocolate mix, a shot of peppermint schnapps,
whip cream and peppermint sprinkles on top.
YUM! I drink these by the fireplace while we watch movies at night.

I think I might try a non-alcoholic version something like this:

  • Hot Cocoa Mix
  • A tiny bit of Peppermint Extract
  • Whip Cream
  • Peppermint Sprinkles on top

I think it would still taste divine!

What do you think?  Do you have a favorite drink you enjoy this time of year?

I participate in the link parties found here.

I have my own modified version of this I've been using for years. Instead of peppermint extract, I just crush up those swirly red and white mints ... three or four per cup ... and let them dissolve in the hot chocolate. SO YUMMY. Whip cream is always a lovely addition.
