Candy Cane Oreos

Have I mentioned my weakness for Oreos?  Especially double stuffed oreos!  Yum!

I was contemplating how busy this time of year can get.  And how stressful it can be.  And how much I like Oreos. And, how yummy my previous chocolate covered oreos were.  (Yes.  I regretfully admit that this is how my brain works sometimes!)  And I decided to combine all four contemplations!  So I present to you....

CANDY CANE OREOS
(insert applause here)

These were so simple to make.  And very delish.

They would make an elegant Christmas gift to bring to friends or neighbors!  Or to bring to that cookie exchange party!

And you can even have your smallest of children help you make these!

Candy Cane Oreos

  1. Buy a box of Oreo cookies and don't eat them all before you get home.
  2. Take out your holiday stress on some candy canes and smash those little guys to pieces.  Or.  Let your kids take over this part.  My daughter had a blast smashing candy canes!
  3. Dip said Oreos into melting chocolate and before they dry, sprinkle candy cane pieces on top.
  4. Let them dry.
  5. Enjoy with a tall glass of milk, or package up and give away as gifts!

Super simple!  Super beautiful!

Happy Holidays!

I participate in the link parties found here.
