My Never-Ending Pile of Dishes #spon #MyPlatinum

I participated in a campaign on behalf of Mom Central Consulting for Cascade. I received a product sample to facilitate my review and a promotional item as a thank you for participating.

As a stay-at-home-mom, I primarily do most of the housework.  And while the satisfaction of having a clean home gets me through most of the cleaning, there are a couple of chores that are my least favorite to do: laundry and dishes.

Laundry never seems to end.  I only have a household of four, but the amount of laundry we produce constantly amazes me!  I do a lot of laundry every week.

Dishes on the other hand are a daily task in our home.  Our dishwasher is run every. single. day.  There is no way around doing dishes in our home.  We have a never-ending pile of dishes in our home.  But we try to make it as easy as possible.

Since moving to Indiana I've encountered a problem with really hard water.  I've tried many different detergents and I've even made my own dishwasher detergent.  I actually really like my homemade dishwasher detergent but I often don't have time to make it.  So I still continue to experiment with other dishwasher detergent options when I don't have time.

What frustrates me with most dishwasher detergents that I purchase is that I have to pre-wash my dishes really well prior to putting them in the dishwasher.  If I don't, I tend to still have food stuck on the dishes or I get a film on my dishes.  I have found some solutions that work better then others of course.  But at the end of the day, I am often left pre-washing all of my dishes prior to running the dishwasher.  So frustrating.

So I was thrilled when I was asked to be a Cascade My Platinum Ambassador and have the opportunity to learn more about their newest line of dishwasher detergents and share the information with you.

Cascade Platinum is a new premium product designed to work extra hard so you don't have to!  According to Cascade, their new line works hard to scrub off food, even food that has been on your dishes for 24 hours!  It is also supposed to eliminate the need for pre-washing while delivering a superior clean.  And it is specially formulated to fight calcium that causes hard water streaks and films.

I've tried Cascade in the past, but I am really excited to have the opportunity to test out how their new Platinum line works!

I have the privilege of sharing more about Cascade Platinum dishwasher detergent with you in the upcoming weeks over a series of four posts.  And I am really excited to be able to see how their product stands up to my dishes!

Oh, and you won't want to miss the cool Instagram contest from Cascade either!  So be sure to stop back soon to learn how to enter to win.  Oh...and Cascade has also partnered with Top Chef Judge Gail Simmons as well and I will have the opportunity later to see how one of his recipes stands up to Cascade Platinum detergent!

I have the same problem! Never ending pile. Sink fills up the minute I load the dishwasher! I really want to try this Cascade cause it takes up a lot of my time having to prewash dishes before the machine washes them. Thanks for sharing!
