Welcome to the 1st day of the 17 Days of St. Patrick at Simply Designing!  Every day, from now until St. Patrick's Day I will be posting new St. Patrick's Day ideas / crafts / features etc.  That's 17 (or more) wonderful St. Patrick's ideas!  Wow!
I had so much fun making my felt heart garland for Valentine's Day, and my daughter loved having it up, so I thought this would be a great project to start with for this holiday!
Shamrock+Garland+2 | Shamrock Felt Garland | 6 |
It ended up being over 7' long and fits my mantel wonderfully!  My daughter was so excited to see the St. Patrick's Day decoration up in our house!
The best part is that I made two of them!  One for my mantel and the other one I am selling at my brand new Etsy shop!  (I just barely set it up, it is still a work in progress but I will be adding new things shortly!)  There is only one of these available so if you want it, you better head over there quickly to snag it before someone else does!
And, if you are a follower of my blog, I am offering a one-time discount on the purchase of this felt Shamrock Garland!  When you purchase it, please add a message to seller with the following code: SDMarch2010, and you will receive 10% off the price of the garland!  (You will be charged the full price and then I will refund the difference.)  (Update: this sold already!  Thanks so much!)
Click here to see my Valentine's Day Hearts on the Hearth tutorial which shows you how to make this!
I hope to see you tomorrow for another great St. Patrick's Day idea!
