In the past I have often made a delicious Fresh Fruit Pizza that is honestly, simply incredible!  I get compliments on it every time I serve it.  You should really check it out and Pin it HERE.  But in an effort to help my daughter to learn how to cook and to create a simpler recipe, I came up with a new version of this delicious Fresh Fruit Tart that is also delicious and oh-so-tasty!  Come check out my Simple Fruit Tart.

Simple Fruit Tart | this is so simple, even a child can do most of it! Definitely pinning for later! | #recipes #dessert #fruit #tart

To tell you how simple this really is, besides helping with the oven, my 7 year old did this all by herself!  Isn't she awesome!?

Simple Fruit Tart

Ingredients:

  • Store-Bought Sugar Cookie Dough
  • 1 container Cool Whip
  • Fresh Fruit and Berries

Directions:

  1. Use about half of the cookie dough and either roll or press it out.  Bake according to package directions.  Cool and place on a pretty tray.
  2. Wash and cut fruit.  We used blackberries so they did not need to be cut.  But the strawberries my daughter cut all by herself, using this awesome trick: she cut the strawberries with an egg slicer!  Yup!  Easy, simple and even a young child can help do this step!
  3. Spread Cool Whip on the baked cookie and top with fruit!

Enjoy!

Another simple "sauce" to use is Marzetti's Cream Cheese Fruit dip. That's what I usually use in my fruit pizza. Thanks for the tip on using an egg slicer to cut strawberries.
