It's no secret that I love Washi tape and a few weeks ago while in the shower I had an epiphany of how to use washi tape to make a really cute Easter egg decoration for Easter! It took me a little while to finally complete this craft but I am absolutely loving how my Washi Tape Easter Egg Decor turned out!!
I simply printed off two large Easter egg shapes and then went to work! The top layer will be made by simply cutting the egg shape out of the paper (I actually printer my top layer on cardstock to make this a bit easier.) This will create an egg shaped frame to cover your washi tape.
The bottom layer will be made by simply using the egg shape as a guide to lay your washi tape out. Just cover your egg shape with strips of washi tape!
Then place your egg shaped frame over your washi tape egg and put it in a fun frame!
So so simple and so so cute! I love how it turned out and I love having this on my entry way table! It just makes me smile.
