I love to build, create, paint and stain!  I've even been known to forget to wear gloves and have ended up with stain-covered hands for days at a time (oops!).

Anyway, I was really excited to find out that Cabot Premium Woodcare has come out with an incredible line of interior wood finish products: Cabot Premium Wood Finish!  Woot woot!  And I was even more thrilled when they asked me to share the news with you!

What I love about Cabot Premium Wood Finish is that it is specifically designed for interior furniture use!  And it will work on old or new wood.
Since I mainly stain interior decor or furniture items, this new product is formulated just for me!
Here are a few great features about Cabot's new wood finish line:
  • water-based interior wood finish product
  • stains and seals in one step
  • goes on smoothly, no primer or conditioner needed
  • no blotches or brush marks
  • cleanable with soap and water (ok...maybe this WILL help with my stained-hands issue?!)
  • fast drying formula
  • available in a wide range of colors
I love that it stains and seals in one step!  That saves a lot of time and money!
But my favorite part of this product is that it is tint-able so you can get any color of wood finish that you want.  Yes.  I said COLOR!  From grey to brown to purple to turquoise, this product can pack quite the colorful punch!  How cool is that!?
It also comes standard in a wide variety of natural wood tones that I just love too!
Check out this awesome video to see how easy it is to create your own personalized statement mirror using Cabot:

I love the rich and warm colors that Cabot wood finish is available in and I love the two-toned mirror that Mr Kate made in the video!  So much fun!

or find it exclusively at Lowe's stores.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on Cabot Premium Wood Finish to see how well it worked!  So I made a quick trip to Lowe's so that I could test Cabot's new finish out for myself!

After creating a quick little project, here is what I discovered!  Cabot Premium Wood Finish does go on smoothly and it doesn't leave any blotchy marks, only one coat was needed (but I could add more if I wanted a richer color) and it is really really really fast drying!
