Another great addition to a big, fast race car day party, car party or Indy 500 decorations would be some cute simple to create Black and White Flags!

Flags01 | The Big Fast Car Race Party : Black and White Flags | 9 |

All you need is a hot glue gun, black and white fabric (cost about $1.50 for both colors but I used most of the fabric for a pennant banner), fabric scissors, a small plaque (about $1 from a craft store), wooden dowels (about 12 cents apiece), Fray-Check (optional).

Cut your fabric into rectangles.  Use Fray-check to seal your edges if you like.

Hot glue one end of the rectangle to your wooden dowel.

Drill small holes into your plaque.  Paint your plaque.

Place flags into dried plaque.

Total Cost:  approx. $2!
