This post brought to you by Dollar General. All opinions are 100% mine.

My son, who eats constantly, has stopped eating breakfast.  It's quite disconcerting actually.  And so frustrating to throw away a bowl of cereal every day and to hear that he is starving 10 minutes later.  Sigh.

So the other day, in an effort to get my son to eat breakfast, I decided to make my kids a yummy breakfast complete with fresh fruit, egg burritos and an ALOHA SLUSHIE!

Most of the time, I am that mom who buys 100% juice, but sometimes I don't.  It's true.  Sometimes I buy fruit punch, or some bright colored drink that contains nothing close to juice in it.  But only on occassion.  True story.

So my kids where thrilled the other day when I brought home a huge jug of Hawaiian Punch Aloha Morning.  They couldn't wait to try it!  And it contains 40% less sugar then other breakfast drinks and 5% juice.

Using my blender, I crushed a lot of ice and added Hawaiian Punch®: Aloha Morning™ to create a tasty slushie!

Making a drink into a slushie turns any drink into a fun treat...especially for breakfast!  This was a HUGE hit with my kids!  They loved the punch by itself, but they also loved that I turned it into a slushie for them!

I filled my kids plates with fresh fruit and egg burittos.  My egg burittos are so simple to make.  I just scramble eggs, add cheese and put in a flour tortilla.  My kids love these with sour cream.  I added sour cream and salsa to mine.  Yum!

This was all a huge hit!  My son and daughter both ate 2 burittos!  And they were both BEGGING for more Aloha Slushie!

We made our breakfast a little extra special with Hawaiian Punch®: Aloha Morning™ Slushies and the best part was that my son wasn't claiming to be starving 10 minutes later!  Wahoo!
