Welcome to Day 7 of my Summer Blog Series:  Color my Home!  I have an amazing line up of fabulous bloggers who will be sharing how they incorporate Color into their Home this Summer!  I am so excited to have Jenna from Rain on a Tin Roof on my blog today, talking about how she has added fun punches of color throughout her whole house!  I especially LOVE the color of her daughter's dresser!!

Hi y'all, I'm Jenna from Rain on a Tin Roof. I am so thrilled that Ashley invited me to be a part of the Color My Home Summer Series. I just love her blog and what's better is  I'm going to get to meet her at Haven! I am excited!

Over at Rain on a Tin Roof, I blog about thrifting, crafting, and decorating. I am a self-proclaimed cheap decorator. I love taking something that someone has tossed to the side and making it into something someone would love to take home. (A.K.A. The Family Hoarder)

Today, I'm showing you how I add color in my own home. I will admit - I usually turn to neutrals for larger pieces that can't easily be changed like couches, chairs, and upholstered beds. I add color with other accents in the room.

If you have ever visited my blog before, you know I love me some lamp makeovers. This Kate Spade Inspired Lamp added some much needed green and gold to my living room.

Did I also mention how fun it is?!

Speaking off fun, why not add color someplace unexpected? This once brass chandelier got a nice coat of turquoise spray paint.

I'm also a wreath addict gal. They are just so simple to make and an easy way to bring color inside and change with the seasons. My latest wreath was inspired by Lilly Pulitzer's bright floral prints.

I love bringing this moss wreath out right as Spring begins. It helps to get past those last few days of winter.

My daughter's nursery is one area that got some serious punches of color. I painted the walls gray to "grow with her," but really amped up the color on the accents. This buffet turned dresser / changing table got a coat of pink salmon paint.

Since the crib was white, I went for a bright floral print for the crib skirt. The same pattern and coordinating colors can be found throughout the room in her curtains and wall art as well. Textiles can be easily changed out to add some much needed color in a space.

Another fun and colorful aspect of the nursery are the DIY tissue paper pom-poms. These are easy to make and super cheap!
