It's amazing what you can create with a little wood, +Cabot Woodcare stain and a +RYOBI Power Tools AirStrike!  The other day I quickly created this beautiful Rustic Star to go with our Christmas decor and I love how it turned out!

DIY Rustic Lighted Star | simple to create rustic star! perfect for holiday, Christmas or New Year's decor! | #diy #crafts #holiday #christmas

To create this you will need:
  • (5) ¾" wide x 18" long square dowels
  • Cabot Premium Wood Finish in Riverbed
  • Rag
  • Ryobi AirStrike (another brad nail gun will work...but this is my favorite!)
  • 1" brads
  • 35 count strand of lights

First you will use a rag to stain your dowels and let it dry.  After it is dry, use your nail gun to nail the wooden dowels together in a star shape.  (Sorry, no photos, I needed two hands!!)  Finally wrap your lights around the star, plug in and enjoy!
