Other than an expensive toaster oven, I think that splurging on appliances is a waste. The more bells and whistles on them, the more they break. I have a fancy refridgerator and the motherboard broke. A new motherboard was so expensive.<br /><br />You are better off putting better cabinets in a kitchen than blowing the wad on good appliances. They all have a short shelf life!
