I have often mentioned how much I love my Babycakes Cake Pop Maker!  It makes these round little balls of cake-y goodness!  {yum} And it is so simple to use!  And do you know what?  Babycakes did it again!  They came out with a second version of their Cake Pop Maker, their Flip-Over Cake Pop Maker!  And boy is it amazing!  So join me as I compare the Original Cake Pop Maker VS Flip-Over Cake Pop Maker.

When I got the Flip-Over Cake Pop Maker I was delighted the it was almost identical to the original one, except that it comes on a stand that allows you to easily flip the cake pops over half-way through the cooking process.
It reminds me a lot of the flip-over waffle irons actually.
It is a little bulkier then the original one, but the handle folds in so it is really only bigger in the height.
I decided to use their Orange Cream Baking Mix and test these two machines out...side by side.

The Babycakes Flip-Over Cake Pop Maker comes with a whole slew of fabulous item...everything you need to begin making your cake pops immediately!

I especially love the cake batter pour-er thing.  It makes putting the right about of batter in each place quick and easy with very little mess!

And Babycakes has recently come out with a few new flavors of baking mixes!  One thing I love about their baking mixes is that they are so simple to use!  The Orange Cream baking mix comes with both the cake mix and the icing mix so these took only minutes to put together!

And I really enjoyed the texture and flavor of this cake pops!  They have a perfect texture for going on stick.  Dense enough to stay on a stick and not fall apart, but still moist and yummy!  And the orange flavor is really yummy.

Babycakes makes all of their products so simple to use!  You just mix the batter together, preheat the cake pop machine, and then fill the crevices in the machine until they are almost full.

Yum.

Follow the directions in the simple to read booklet it comes with, but it is really so easy!  You will just close the machine, and flip it over for a portion of the cook-time and then flip it back.  So simple and easy!

And LOOK at how perfectly round and evenly browned my cake balls are!!!!

At the same time, I made a batch of Orange Cream cake balls using the batter from the same mix in my Original Cake Pop Maker.

I have always LOVED my Original Cake Pop Maker, and while they were sometimes a bit lopsided, it was nothing a little chocolate and sprinkles couldn't disguise.  I never had any issues or complaints with it.

Until I saw how perfectly round the cake balls are with the Flip-Over Cake Pop Maker...check these out:

Oh it just makes my heart swoon!

They are perfectly golden all the way around and perfectly round!  How amazing is that!?

After I was done baking my cake pops, I decided to make the icing a little extra thick and make them into bite-sized delectable treats (without a stick).

And oh how delicious they were!  (Yes, "were."  I ate them all...ok...I shared a few...but I ate a lot of them 🙂
I have always loved Babycakes products, especially their cake pop maker.  But their Flip-Over Cake Pop Maker literally takes the cake!  It is amazing, does a great job making the pops, is so quick and simple to use, cleans up quickly and creates beautiful delicious treats for all to enjoy!

Do you have any Babycakes products?  If you don't, what one would you buy first?
